The land is accessed via a shared entrance to the main road leading to Wicklow Head. The land is located on both sides of a concrete roadway leading to Wicklow Head. The land is laid out in approximately 9 grazing divisions which are well fenced and under grass. The sections above the road are of mixed quality with some rocky outcrop and scrub ground. The land adjoins the southernmost point of Wicklow Golf Club and has superb panoramic views overlooking Wicklow Bay towards Bray and Wicklow Head towards Brittas Bay.

The land below the road is predominantly good quality grazing land and laid out in 5 large divisions. The land is under grass and is in good condition. The lower lying lands to the West and South includes some scrub ground and wetland and there is a small stream adjoining this section of lands. Under the 2019 Wicklow local area plan the majority of the land is zoned for "passive open space" with an objective "To preserve, improve and provide for parks, recreational public and private open space, green corridors and ecological buffer zones" . The 2025 local area plan is about to enter public consultation phase.
